Of tall, slender form, the back comprising a flat top rail above turned uprights with a distinctive V-shaped splat and two curved horizontal rails. The oval caned seat raised on turned front legs with sabre rear legs, united by stretchers, the front stretcher with a bobbin-turned centre section, worn smooth on its upper surface through prolonged use.

The timber is beech throughout, stained dark. The frame is sound throughout and it retains fragments of the original cane.

Terrou Studio is able to undertake restoration of the caning at an additional cost - please contact us for a quote.
