Believed to date to the 1970s, this striking diamond cluster is crafted in rich 18ct yellow gold with a platinum setting, the cool white metal chosen to enhance the brightness of the stones. At its centre sits a light yellow diamond of approximately 0.35ct - a soft, buttery tone that gives warmth and individuality to the composition.
Surrounding it, a halo of brilliant-cut diamonds forms a floral cluster, with additional stones set to the shoulders for balance and drama. The total diamond weight is approximately 1.11ct, creating a surface alive with fire and movement. The subtle contrast between the faint golden centre and the whiter surrounding stones gives the piece depth - a bloom of light, rather than a single flash.
Though believed to have been created in the 1970s, the design echoes earlier Edwardian cluster rings, reinterpreted with the confident proportions of the late twentieth century. It sits beautifully flat on the hand.
A compelling choice for an engagement ring or to mark a social occasion.
