A wonderfully characterful little diamond ring, formed as a delicate three-leaf clover and set with three natural diamonds.

The diamond-set clover began life as an antique stick pin, later converted into a ring to give the piece a new chapter of wear. Rather than disguising its former life, the conversion retains part of the original pin, which curves beneath the clover like a slender stem. It is a detail we particularly love, preserving something of the jewel’s original form and giving the ring its wonderfully individual character.

Each leaf is represented by a small round diamond, approximately 1.5mm in diameter, held within a simple 9ct gold setting. The result is delicate and understated, with just enough antique sparkle to catch the light.

Clover motifs became particularly popular in jewellery around the turn of the twentieth century, when botanical forms and symbolic jewels were widely worn. Associated with luck and good fortune, the motif has a lasting charm that feels just as appealing today.

Light, romantic and entirely individual, this is a lovely example of an antique jewel thoughtfully adapted for contemporary wear.
